Art Butler Auto Sales
Art Butler Auto Sales already had a current website but wanted a redesign that would
allow them to still serve their local customers while also attracting business from other areas
and countries. Auto listings were already database powered, but in order to make things
more efficient I developed a custom administration area. Within the administration area, I
developed a custom zip utility that takes all photos of a supplied stock number,
renames them, and places them in a zip file for easy batch uploading to AutoTrader.com™

I have great experience taking already created Photoshop (.psd) files and converting them to W3C valid XHTML tableless CSS markup that are compatible with IE, Firefox, Opera and Safari. Sonoma County Airport .com was in need of a website redesign along with a fresh logo.
With a newsletter subscriber base of over 3,000 the site fills a need in the community and gives
the Sonoma County residents and travelers all the info they need, easily and efficiently
in one spot. The site incorporates a unique website design with a 3-column layout and
advertising blended with the site rather than taking over the site. Over the next year, there
will be further development on the site to integrate a blog, pilot job postings, discussion boards and more.

The DSO
The DSO is a restaurant directory where you can find the latest deals and specials.
The website allows for member restaurants to login and control their menu items, add a
photo gallery to their restaurant, and more. The restaurants can also create coupons to
be tracked and printed from the website. Visitors can sign up for a daily newsletter showing lunch
and dinner specials for areas that they choose. In May 2007, an upcoming events calendar was
added that shows events based on area or specific restaurants. Restaurant owners can create new
events that are single occurance or that are repeat events. Visitors can also sign up for an
event reminder that is emailed a day before the event.

Plus-Size Model and Author, Nancy Hayssen, needed her current website redesigned
to have a more professional look and a unique, refreshed layout. The new website features
a wonderful photo gallery, as well as a custom integration of a WordPress blog.

This website was developed for Wildlife Artist, Randy Muir. The site was built using valid XHTML
and CSS. For the painting gallery, I incorporated the use of Ajax and Script.aculo.us to
provide a quick and elegant transitioning gallery.
